In response to Aug. 19 opinion of Muslim culture contributing to our society: tell me, how can such a society as the Muslim lifestyle and teachings contribute anything good to the U.S.A. when we have the best and greatest way of life in the world?
All terrorists are trying to destroy anything good here in America — our way of life is the greatest in the world; millions are trying to come here to live; we are the most generous nation on Earth.
We love people, not wanting to kill people, as the Muslims teach. We don’t want anyone to live in fear and hatred; we want a peaceful, happy life for everyone.
Is a fearful, lying, untruthful way contributing any good to anyone? Killing and stealing certainly is not a way to live.
Compare nations for yourself. We have the greatest way of life on Earth — millions come here and millions more are trying to get in our country to live. If you come here, you must learn our speech and take our way of living; leave your nation’s ways behind.
We don’t want to be like other nations. Don’t try to change our nation — we believe in God’s way of living, so keep all else, elsewhere.
We have the greatest example of “contribution” in Washington, D.C., now. Only God can solve that one. It is to our hurt and disappointment.
