Congratulations to Cassandra Taylor, who earlier this month assumed new duties as principal at Moody Junior High School. For Taylor, it was like coming home.

Her first teaching experience was in the same building when it was Moody High School and she was a student teacher. Now, 13 years, three college degrees and three teaching assignments later, she’s back in “the round school building,” and she’s in charge.

Taylor is excited and enthusiastic about her new assignment, and she’s confident of the support she’ll receive from her staff and from Superintendent Jenny Seals, whom she has known since childhood.

“They are just awesome,” she said.
