In the photo are, from left, Pell City Police Officer Jimmy Woodard and Pell City Fire Department paramedic Lt. Kim Wolfe. The two first responders were on the scene of an accident that occurred on U.S. 231 South Thursday. Apparently a dump truck rear-ended another vehicle. Both vehicles were traveling south on U.S. 231 when the accident occurred. A Ragland woman suffered injuries in the wreck and was transported to St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital by ambulance. The collision happened just before 2 p.m., near Lucky’s convenience store.
