She is the 7-year-old daughter of Stephanie Brasher of Moody. She has one sister, Skylar, 5, a kindergarten student at MES.
Sami’s favorite subject is math, and her favorite teachers are Dana Bell, her kindergarten teacher from last year, and Amanda Kisor.
She said it would absolutely be just fine if she had to go to school on Saturday and Sunday.
“I want to learn words — big words that I don’t know,” she said.
Her hobbies include swimming, playing softball, drawing, riding her four-wheeler, hunting deer, birds and squirrels.
Her pets include two hamsters, two dogs, two ducks, a cat and fish.
Her advice for younger students, such as her sister, is for them to listen and pay attention to their teachers.
When she grows up, Sami wants to be a doctor. She would love to attend the University of Alabama.
