The Odenville Middle School Student Government Association worked with the entire OMS student body to raise $1,301.01 for the Hope for Haiti International Relief project through the American Red Cross. Student Selena Boshell asked her parents is she could take money out of her savings account for this project. They agreed, and Boswell donated $100. The students also bagged groceries at the Piggly Wiggly in Odenville, with $360 in tips going toward the project. The money was raised in two and a half weeks.
