It is almost impossible for the human mind to understand the reasons behind Pell City’s recent city tax increase to 10 percent while the entire nation is suffering through a financial crisis that hasn’t been seen since the Great Depression.
The overwhelming majority of the people I’ve spoken with in that area are against this tax increase and many plan to shop out of town when possible. I know it has taken Pell City off of my list of places to shop.
Who’s running that city — the citizens or Bozo the clown?
