Now, she takes her spelling prowess to the next level, heading to state competition March 6 at Oak Mountain.
She has demonstrated her skills on the county level and is hoping to match up well against students from across Alabama.
We congratulate Whitney on her successes thus far, and we wish her the best as she represents St. Clair County in the state Spelling Bee.
