An impressive crowd witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, ushering in a new era for the county as St. Vincent’s St. Clair goes up on a site overlooking Interstate 20.
Scores of people and organizations have been involved in the planning, the negotiations and overcoming the challenges over many years en route to the new hospital becoming reality.
And we thank all for their perseverance, knowing that the benefits of a new hospital will keep St. Clair County growing in the right direction for a long time to come.
