In Ragland, work is about to be completed on a six classroom addition to the school, which will also includes a library, administrative office and storage area.
Moody Middle and Margaret-Argo will see new schools when doors open for a new year in August. In Moody, the new middle school is an 82,000 square foot facility with 30 classrooms. In Margaret-Argo, the new school is 84,000 square feet housing 38 classrooms.
All are signs of growth for the 8,400-student school system that serves the fastest growing county in the state. And we commend officials on their progress toward facilities that can adequately serve the system well into the future.
