To the editor:

I would like to thank all Christians in the immediate St. Clair area and Christians all around the state. While the bingo issue was hot here at Ashville, Christians wrote and wrote the papers spreading and expounding the word of Christ, about work, stewardship, and making money. The word of Christ leaves no liberty, command, or excuse to gamble.

The fruits of your labor are visible. I would also ask you not get to complacent or lazy. But keep writing and keep speaking.

Also don’t let it stop with gambling. Preach from the rooftops against Islam, homosexuality, being raped by property taxes, and the need of every lost sinner, which is Jesus Christ.

From all the stats I’ve read and heard, Alabama is still the center of the Bible belt. Let’s take our state back for Christ and then we will work on the rest of the country.

One last word of encouragement: our children will be our future. So if you don’t want socialism to exist in your country then don’t let it exist in your house. Kid socialists grow up to be adult socialists, immodest kids grow up to be immodest adults, and little bitty dependants grow up to be adult dependants.

You see where I’m going with this. Teach Christ, capitalism and liberty in your homes, then your kids will take to the mayor’s house, the state house and the White House.
