Members of the 2010 Class of Leadership St. Clair County spent last Thursday touring the county’s school systems.

Marie Manning, enrollment counselor for the Pell City campus of Jefferson State Community College, led the members on the tour as part of “Education Day.” For the day, the LSCC members toured Jefferson State, Pell City, Moody, Ashville and the Eden Career Technical Center.

The day featured a tour of the icademy at Jefferson State, a demonstration of theater, JROTC and choir programs at Pell City, the access lab at Moody High, an archery demonstration at Ashville Middle School and a tour of the Auto and Marine Technology lab at Eden.

Representatives of the St. Clair County Community Education Program also conducted a presentation about their various programs, which include extended day and recreation.
