The St. Clair County Extension Health Resource Council and the St. Clair County Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters are partnering to bring a special event to the county.

The countywide Health and Disaster Preparedness Fair is coming to the Pell City Civic Center Friday in hopes of increasing awareness about healthy lifestyles and disaster preparedness.

It’s all about being ready for what comes your way. Through health screenings, people are more prepared to live healthier lifestyles. Through information about what to do in the face of a disaster, people are ready to meet a crisis prepared.

We salute those involved in the fair and encourage citizens to participate in this special event to help them deal with what lies ahead in their lives.
