Rodgers has always attended school at Steele and has one more year after this year before moving on to Ashville High School as a freshman.
His favorite subject is Math and his favorite teacher is Coach Danny Wise.
He makes all A’s and B’s and is a member of the Jr. Beta Club.
His advice to younger students is to make sure they do all their homework.
“They need to make sure they study everything,” Rodgers said. “If you have a question, just ask the teacher because if you do not understand it, you will never learn it.”
One day, after he graduates from Ashville High, Rodgers would like to attend the University of Alabama. He wants to be a scientist when he grows up.
