Leeds headed to Super Regionals in Montgomery

The Leeds Green Wave are headed to the Super Regional in Montgomery Friday after they won the Class 3A Area 8 volleyball title last week.
Leeds defeated Indian Springs 3-0 and then upended Montevallo 3-0 in the title game.
Leeds will play Barbour County Friday at 10:15 a.m. in the opening round.
Win over Indian Springs
Leeds defeated Indian Springs 25-19, 25-10, 25-17.
Jessie White had four aces and four digs while Tyra Middlebrook had seven digs, two kills, and two assists. Corrie Musgrove had 10 digs and three kills while Alessandra Kennedy had six digs, two kills and eight assists.
Win over Montevallo
In the finals, Leeds defeated Montevallo 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.
Kennedy had three aces, 15 assists, two kills and six digs while Musgrove had six kills, two assists and four digs. Middlebrook finished the match with 13 digs, six kills and three assists. 
With the win, Leeds improved to 20-18.
Middlebrook was named the tournament MVP.
Musgrove and Kennedy made the All-Tournament Team.
