At one time, the United States was No. 1 in most things. Now the only thing America is No. 1 at is military spending. We learned from Hitler and Stalin that science can make a nation No. 1, but we have forgotten those lessons.

In an attempt to get science out of school, HB 133 was introduced into the Alabama House. Instead of taking science, students will be allowed to go to a religious building to study religion. This bill was introduced by Rep. Blaine Galliher, R-Rainbow City. With this bill, Muslim students can be released to study under an Imam, and be given a science grade by the Imam. This grade will be on the public school report card.

With this bill, students must be released to attend classes in Scientology, Islam, Christian Science, Mormonism, or any other religion. Rep. Galliher could be supporting radical Imams in their quest to destroy the USA. The students could be taught the construction of suicide vest, improvised explosive devices, WMDs, or other equipment for terrorist acts.

The First Amendment will not allow schools to restrict the science release to only Christian schools. Galliher knew this when he introduced the bill and he did not care.

Gov. Bentley likes Galliher’s ideas so much, he put him in his cabinet. The movie “Dumb and Dumber” could be remade and feature Bentley and Galliher.
