Registration was held earlier this week for students at St. Clair County High School in Odenville. However, schedule changes will be held on the following days and times:
Seniors and juniors on July 23, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Sophomores and freshmen on July 24, from 9 to 11 a.m.

All students will need two proofs of residency (current utility bills) and up-to-date immunization record (if notified by the school nurse).
Students may purchase lockers ($15) and parking permits ($20) with proof of insurance, driver’s license number and tag number.

OES summer hours and registration
Odenville Elementary School’s summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. The office is closed on Fridays.
Registration will be held every Monday in June, July and August until school begins.
Kindergarten Kamp for incoming Odenville Elementary School students will be Aug. 6-9.
If you filled out a Kindergarten Kamp form at OES registration, you will be contacted soon. Also, if you would like more information regarding Kindergarten Kamp, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Supply lists are available on our school’s website, school office, local Wal-Marts, Dollar General and Fred’s.
Class lists will not be posted until late July. Your child’s 2012-2013 classroom teacher will be in contact with you.
Odenville Elementary School first and second-grade orientation will be held Thursday, August 16, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Odenville Elementary School Kindergarten orientation will be held Thursday, August 16, at 6 p.m.
First full school day for students is Aug. 20.
Summer Reading lists and Summer Math Practice sheets were sent home with students on the last day of school. It is very important for your child to continue to develop reading and math skills over the summer. Research and data show that if children are not engaged in learning over the summer months, they fall behind when the new school year begins. Take advantage of the Odenville Public Library Summer Reading Program and check out Reading and Math practice activities at www.odenvilleelementary.org and click the Computer Lab tab to the left.
Odenville Intermediate School
OIS Orientation/Registration will be Aug. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. Parents will need to bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate, social security card and two proofs of residency. New and updated registration forms will need to be completed. Classroom supply lists will be available at Fred’s, Dollar General, and Wal Mart.
Moody Jr. High School
Moody Jr. High School will have pre-locker sales Aug. 7 and Aug. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. The cost for the locker is $15.00.
Eighth-grade orientation will be Aug. 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Seventh-grade orientation will be Aug. 16 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Please meet at 6 p.m. on both nights in the Moody Jr. High School Multipurpose Room. Parents will pick up their child’s schedule, may purchase PE uniforms and lockers and will meet their teachers.
Ashville Middle School
Ashville Middle School student orientation for the 2012 – 2013 school year will be Aug. 2.
Orientation for fifth-grade students will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and will begin in the Ashville Lunchroom.
Orientation for grades 6 through 8 will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students in grades 6 through 8 may report directly to homeroom teachers.
Students will be allowed to pick up schedules, pay locker fees, and meet teachers at orientation. Parents will have the opportunity to complete beginning of the year paperwork.
Also, all students must have up-to-date immunization paperwork in order to register for school. This includes students going into sixth-grade who must have an updated Tdap vaccine before beginning sixth-grade.
Students who did not attend an Ashville school during the previous school year should bring a birth certificate, social security card, current Alabama blue immunization form, and proof of residency in the Ashville school zone (current utility bill with the physical address) in order to register.

Springville Elementary School will have ‘Meet the Teacher’ on Aug. 16, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Moody Elementary School
Meet the Teacher nights are; Kindergarten, Aug. 15, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; Third-grade, Aug. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; First-grade, Aug. 16, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; Second-grade, Aug. 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Ashville High School
Parent meeting for extra-curricular activities (sports, cheerleading, band, etc.) will be July 30, or Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. This meeting is mandatory for any student who wishes to participate in any extra-curricular activity. At least one parent or guardian must be present at one meeting. Please bring insurance information and any medical information that is applicable.
Freshman Open House and Orientation will be Aug. 2, at 6 p.m.
Senior registration will be Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Junior registration will be Aug. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sophomore registration will be Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Open registration will be Aug. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Registration for Moody High School will be as follows:
