Please allow me, with my limited educational abilities, to make a few observations.
First, for those who do not wish to associate the President with the GSA scandal, let me ask, who was it that appointed the person to direct the activities of that department? Who was it that created the atmosphere that “I can/will do what I want”? Who is responsible to this nation’s people to provide “a good, moral example and leadership?”
Now to be fair, was it not President G.W. Bush who created the atmosphere for Wall Street and big businesses to do what they wanted? And was it not this same president that also created the atmosphere of animosity against organized labor?
But let us take this a little further and ponder this thought: Was it not labor unions’ relationship with socialism and such persuasions that caused some antagonism against them, causing some members to withdraw membership and vote against them and their big supporters?
There is much more on my plate of antagonism that I could share but will withhold it for now.
Thanks to our brave men and women who now serve, and to those who have served before, all the way since 1774 for the liberties and freedoms that I have exhibited in this article. I am especially thankful for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for these liberties.
