The 2012 St. Clairion, the yearbook for St. Clair County High School, won some awards recently at the Alabama Scholastic Press Association’s annual convention in Tuscaloosa. The St. Clairion won awards in all of the four carry-in categories they submitted entries for. They won first place in Clubs (Band page), first place in Sports (Football page), first place in Student Life (Homecoming page), and second place for cover design. The 2012 yearbook is currently on sale and the theme is “Luminescence.” Pictured, front row, are Kimary Dickerson, Cati Aloia, Trent McDaniel, Kaitlin Conner, Fernisia Green, Brittany Noell, Lauren Gualtieri, Elizabeth Westerfield and yearbook adviser Mary Morrow. Back row are Blakeney Cox, Chelsea Thompson, Kaitlyn Phillips, Taylor Haradon, Karli Buckner, Dalton Payton, Justice Steele, Mattie Winfree and Jake Pickering. Not pictured are Dawn Simpson and Gabrielle Johnson.
