Heather Burnett is a senior at Springville High School. She has always attended the Springville schools. She is the 18-year-old daughter of J.R. and Tina Burnett of Springville.

She has a fish named Jordan and two dogs named Precious and Pancho.

Her favorite subject is Science and her favorite class is anatomy. Her favorite teacher of all-time is Natasha Hurd. She maintains a 3.4 GPA. She makes all A’s and B’s.

Hobbies include dancing, writing and interacting with people.

She is a member of the Beta Club, Focus Group and Student Council. She has been captain of the Dance Line the past two years and is also editor of the yearbook.

After graduating high school, Burnett plans on attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham to study nursing.

“I want to ultimately become a neonatal intensive care unit nurse,” Burnett said.

Her advice to younger students is for them to work hard to achieve their goals.

“Everything in school is important,” she said.
