According to information from the Alabama State Trooper’s Office, Jerry Neal Morrow, 72, died when the 2008 Nissan Titan he was driving left the roadway at 11:15 a.m.
St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell said Morrow was traveling North on 144 going into Ragland when the accident happened.
“When he left the roadway, the vehicle overturned,” Russell said. “He was wearing his seatbelt.”
Russell said Morrow died from blunt force trauma. Russell pronounced him dead at 11:27 a.m.
His body was taken to the St. Clair County Coroner’s Office in Pell City.
