The daughter of Ronnie and Melissa Adkins of Moody, Elise received some $11,400 in scholarships, including a two-year scholarship to Jefferson State Community College.
Elise’s parents, younger sister and grandmother watched with pride as their favorite contestant won top honors.
Grandmother Nancy Myers beamed and hugged Elise, her oldest grandchild, saying, “I am so thankful the judges could see into Elise’s heart and know she is such a kind and caring person. I love and adore her.”
