James Hendrix
His education career started at Parkway Christian School as a kindergarten student. From first-grade through a portion of the third-grade, Hendrix attended Walker Elementary School in Tuscaloosa before transferring to Moody Elementary School.
He is the 12-year-old son of Barbara Hendrix of Moody. He has three sisters, Autumn, Jennifer and Amy, a fourth-grade student at Moody Middle School.
His favorite subject is math while his favorite teachers are all of them.
Hendrix has always made A’s on his report card, never making a B.
His hobbies include playing on the computer and helping his momma any way he can. He also enjoys looking at robotics and trying to figure them out. At school, he is involved with the Foreign Language Club. He wants to be a computer technician when he grows up. He is undecided where he will attend college.
His advice to younger students is for them to pay attention in school and stay out of trouble.
“They need to make sure they are helping others and just being the best they can be,” Hendrix said.
