Amelia Gilbreath is a senior at Springville High School. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Glenn and Dawn Gilbreath of Springville. She has one sister, Alanna, 12, a sixth grade student at Springville Middle School.

Amelia started attending the Springville schools in the seventh grade.

From kindergarten through sixth grade, she attended schools at Clay-Chalkville.

“I love Springville High School,” she said.

Her favorite subject is History while her favorite teachers are all of them.

Amelia maintains a 3.5 GPA.

Hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, along with working at Aeropostale.

At school, she is involved in Prom Committee, Beta Club, Key Club, Student Council, and a School Ambassador. She is also senior class president.

Once she graduates high school, she plans on attending Jeff State, and wants to major in political science.

“When I was in elementary school, I thought about how neat it would be if I became the first female President of the United States,” she said.

Her advice to younger students is for them to know who they are in Christ, and stay strong in their beliefs and they will be successful and fine in life.
