Springville led the way with three players, including Most Valuable Payer Jacob Gibson.
Also, the Coach of the Year honors went to Springville coach Jeff Smith, who led the Tigers to their fourth consecutive county championship back in January.
“I feel honored, and it makes me feel very good that my peers selected me,” Smith said. “We all get along very well, and have for the past several years. We try to help each other because we fight the same battles every year.”
Gibson said it is a big honor being named MVP of the All-County Team.
“I am very grateful,” Gibson said. “I would not have been able to achieve this without my teammates.”
Gibson averaged 13 points per game his senior year, and he also recorded 83 steals during the season.
Also on the team from Springville were Brandon Gilliland and Nick Reaume.
Moody also placed three players on the team. They were Josh Daniel, Justin Wilson and Anthony McMillian
Ragland placed two players on the team — KiJana Lindsey and Cody Jones.
Ashville’s Kyle Looney made the team, as did St. Clair County’s Evan Bolden-Perry.
