Officials with University hospital in Birmingham confirmed Monday that Marla Keith Beasley, 39, was pronounced dead at 2:04 p.m. May 19. Further information regarding cause of death was not released.
According to a police report, Beasley was a passenger on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle that crashed late Friday, on M.A. Lee Road near Park Avenue in Moody. The accident occurred just before 11:30 p.m.
Beasley was transported from the scene via helicopter to the hospital, and died several hours later. The condition of the driver of the motorcycle was not known at press time. The accident remains under investigation.
