I noticed an ad in your paper by the Alabama Medical Marijuana Coalition critical of Rep. Jim McClendon seemingly for not taking a “progressive” approach to the subject of Medical Marijuana. It is my personal opinion that a conservative approach is the way to an eventual resolution.
I have known Dr. McClendon for many years. I know how compassionate he is toward human suffering. He is a doctor himself (Optometry). He is bound by the Hippocratic Oath that calls for “first do no harm.”
Regardless of where I or any other individual might stand on this subject, I can tell you Dr. McClendon is most compassionate and caring. Also his intent is to do the right and proper thing for his state and his constituents.
Just my thoughts.
