An estimated crowd of over 9,000 came to downtown Leeds this past weekend to experience Leeds Folk Festival.
The weekend featured a classic car show, a symposium regarding John Henry, street vendors, Kid’s Korner and live entertainment.
Jeff Falletta, the chairman of the planning committee for the festival, said he received a lot of positive feedback from festival goers about the new layout of the festival — all on 8th Street, on either side of Parkway Drive.
“The children who came to Kids’ Korner had a great time on the bungee-jump carnival ride and watching the Bama Air Dogs show off their Frisbee-catching talents,” Falletta added. “Both are new attractions we added this year.”
