Odenville’s Scott Canterbury has been making a name for himself in pro-angler circuits over the past year. And his fishing prowess has earned him yet another title — 2008 Duracell Rookie of the Year.He also qualified for the $2 million Forrest Wood Cup for his top-40 finish overall in the Wal-Mart FLW.
Canterbury said his Rookie of the Year status was a goal he set for himself. After achieving that, he appears headed for bigger and better days ahead.
We congratulate him on the honor and the pride he brings to his hometown and his county.
