The Leeds Arts Council is at it again, readying to bring the area a quality production. On May 12 and May 13, auditions for adult parts are set for the Sound of Music, the group’s summer musical. On May 17, it will be time for children to try out for roles in the musical. The production is set for late July, and we encourage the community to get involved. Community theater is a vital part of the quality of life and cultural offerings of a city, and the Leeds Arts Council should be thanked for its role in bringing it about.
