ESTELL McDANIEL CORDER PELL CITY — Graveside service for Estell McDaniel Corder, 86, was Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Blue Eye Cemetery, Lincoln. the Rev. Ken Jones officiated. Ms. Corder died June 26, 2008. She is survived by a son, Edward McDaniel; five daughters, Mary Ellen Calhoun, Shirley Owens, Josephine Lawson, Sandra Clark and Sheila Herron; two brothers, Wallace Vandegrift and Billy Joe Vandegrift; two sisters, Betty Jean Nelson and Pauline Woodard; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service. THURMAN (BO) CRADDOCK LINCOLN — Thurman (Bo) Craddock, age 63, passed away May 6, 2008 at Talladega Quality Health Care. Mr. Craddock was born in Leeds and lived there most of his life, the last few years he lived in Lincoln. He was a roofer by trade and roofed many homes in the Leeds and Moody area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jo Greager Craddock, who passed away Feb. 21, 2003; his parents, Ida Lee and T.M. Craddock; and a brother-in-law, Charles J. Vickers. He is survived by two sisters, Betty Vickers of Leeds and Willadean (Bitt) McLaughlin of Moody; three brothers, Arlis (Connie) Craddock of South Carolina, Carl (Geraldine) Craddock of Tennessee and Joe (Becky) Craddock of Alabaster; and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his best friend, his dog, Fangs. Thurman chose to be an Anatomical Donor at UAB in Birmingham in the hope of helping others. BARBARA TURNER MORIARTY PELL CITY — Funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Turner Moriarty, 43, was Monday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel, Pell City. the Rev. Michael Casey officiated. Burial was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Moriarty died Friday, June 27, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Moriarty; son, Christopher Moriarty; parents, W.E. and Angie Turner; sister, Lanita (Rubel Edward) Bowlin; brothers, Frank (Pam) Turner, Robert (Carolyn) Turner; and several nieces and nephews. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service. ELTORA E. MURRAY MOODY — Funeral service for Mrs. Eltora E. Murray, 90, was Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel, Pell City. the Rev. Earnest Walker officiated. Burial was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Murray died Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Murray, who she met in Hawaii in 1959; and by a daughter, June Spence. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Lopatka; sister, Edna Whitfield; brother, Paul Callahan; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service. DENNIS WAYNE WILEY SPRINGVILLE — Dennis Wayne Wiley, age 62, passed away June 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Madison Wiley. He is survived by his mother, Winona Wiley; daughter, Jade Wiley; sons, Brandon and Jason Wiley; sister, Jan Fox; grandchildren, Ellie, Austin and Payton Wiley; three nephews, Jimmy, Joey and Jeff Fox. Chapel funeral services were held Monday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial at Springville Cemetery. the Rev. Troy Collins officiated. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Trussville directed. EVA J. WOLF PELL CITY — Eva J. Wolf, 72, died June 27, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wolf; two sons, Willard Cain and Darrell A. Cain; two daughters, Shelia G. Cain and Emilie Smith; mother, Willie Mae Hannah; two brothers, Donald Hannah and J.R. Hannah; three sisters, Blondine Fincher, Nancy Hannah and Kathleen Phillips; and seven grandchildren. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City is handling arrangements.
