Margaret candidates await Department of Justice ruling

Candidates qualifying for election in the Town of Margaret are: District One — Melanie Bryant, Yvonne Williams, James Chapman (I), Phyllis Chapman (I), Randy Simmons, and Tim Barrett (I).

In District two: Charles Hicks (I), Daryl McIntyre (I), Steve Perry, Stuart Dysart, Tim Barrett, and Bonnie Voss.

Three will be elected from District One and two elected from District Two.

The town is currently waiting for approval from the Department of Justice to determine whether they will split into five districts.

These same candidates will be qualified for their respective district should the split occur.

For mayor, qualifiers are incumbent Jeff Wilson and challenger Jack Roddam.
